The goal is ambitious but necessary—$300,000 must be raised by the Sendero Centre in the next few months to ensure essential services continue for those who rely on them and us.
The Sendero Centre will be hosting ‘ Toonies for Tomorrow’ throughout the month of June, starting on June 2 and wrapping up on Friday, June 20.
On June 20, donation portals will be set up at locations around Red Deer and Central Alberta -- including Timberland Co-Op in Red Deer. They will be collecting cash and online donations (Senderocentre.ca/donate) on our behalf from 11 am to 6 pm.
Individuals also being encouraged to ‘donate a toonie or twenty’ online or at one of the donation locations and businesses are being encouraged to round up sales or donate proceeds from a certain product or service.
